- Process your event registrations and confirmations
- Send event reminders and updates via email and/or SMS
- Manage event capacity and waitlists

3. Third-Party Service Providers
We share your information with the following third-party processors solely to provide our services:
- Supabase — Database hosting and authentication (data storage)
- SendGrid (Twilio) — Email delivery for confirmations, reminders, and communications
- Twilio — SMS message delivery for confirmations and reminders
- xAI (Grok) — AI-based gender inference from first names (see Section 4)
- AWS Amplify — Application hosting
We do not sell your personal information to any third parties.
4. AI-Based Gender Inference
When you register for an event, we may use an AI service (xAI/Grok) to infer your likely gender from your first name. This is used solely for event planning and personalization purposes. The inference is optional and may result in "Male," "Female," or no determination. You may contact us at any time to correct or remove this information.
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law. You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 7).
6. Communication Preferences
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link included in every email we send. You may still receive transactional emails related to your active event registrations. To opt out of SMS messages, reply STOP to any message or contact us directly.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
